Welcome! I am a seasoned Technical Project Manager and Agile Leader with a diverse background in managing complex projects across various industries.
My journey in project management began with a Technical Project Management certificate from Denver University, where I gained foundational skills and knowledge to excel in the field. Building on this foundation, I embarked on a six-month project management internship within an IT department supporting back-office technologies for 8 US-based companies and 9 Canadian-based companies.
Building on this rich experience, my role at CU Boulder's Office of Information Technology Project Management Office allowed me to further refine my project management skills. As the Scrum Leader for a matrixed team, I lead the development of iterative improvements for the Buff Portal mobile-responsive web application, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of Agile methodologies and user-centric design principles. Additionally, I serve as a facilitator for the Change Advisory Board, where I assess and prioritize change requests to support organizational objectives.
My skill set encompasses a wide range of project management methodologies, including Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Agile Project Management. I have a proven track record of effective team leadership, strong communication skills, and proficiency in a variety of project management tools Furthermore, I am well-versed in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software project management principles.
